Frequently asked questions

What are your delivery days?

Our fresh flower deliveries arrive with us at the shop every morning Tuesday-Saturday. We only like to send out the freshest blooms, meaning no flower deliveries will be sent out on a Monday. 

Local Delivery available Tuesday-Saturday 

National Delivery available Wednesday-Friday 

What is your minimum order spend?

Shaftesbury delivery £25.00 minimum spend. 

Local deliveries £35.00 minimum spend 

National deliveries £45.00 minimum spend 

Can I add treats to my order?

Yes! We offer treat boxes of locally made artisan bakes. These can be sent with local or National deliveries. 

Do you offer same day delivery? 

We do offer same day local deliveries if we are able to source our delivery driver and the order is placed in the morning of that day. However you will be unable to place these orders online so please call the shop on 01747 228439 or pop in to the shop. 

What is your local delivery range?

We offer local delivery within a 10 mile radius from the shop. If you’d like a bouquet hand-delivered outside of the 10 mile radius please give us a call on 01747 228439 and we will be able to work out a delivery charge for you. 

Are you eco-friendly?

For the majority of our flower orders we do import our blooms from Holland, however for weddings we do try to use local growers as much as we can! Black Shed in Sherborne is one of our favourites. If you’d like us to try to include English stems in your gift bouquet we are really happy to try our best, please give us a call at the shop on 01747 228439 to discuss. 

All of our packaging is either fully reusable, compostable or recyclable. We only use paper bags and cardboard boxes in the shop.

All of our shop green waste and food waste is composted, and we recycle all items we can. 

Our coffee cups and lids are recyclable, and we encourage people to bring their own reusable cups into the shop, where they will receive 10% off their hot drink.

There is something wrong with my flowers

If you do have a problem with your flowers please get in touch over phone or email, within 24 hours of your order arriving and we will do whatever we can to rectify the problem.

What time will my order arrive?

We deliver between 9am & 5pm locally. During our busier periods Valentines, Mothering Sunday, and Christmas there is a chance we will deliver before or after this. 

Our National delivery flower orders are sent from the shop through the courier APC next-day delivery. They are due to be with you between 9am-6pm.. A signature is required on delivery, however if no one is home and there is a safe place to leave the flowers we always ask for the courier to do this. We cannot take responsibility for failed deliveries because no one is home and there is no safe place.

What if the recipient isn’t in to take for the flowers?

For local deliveries, our drivers will first look for a safe, covered space to leave the bouquet in water. If that isn’t an option, they will try a neighbour.

For national deliveries, although we do put a note on the order asking the driver to leave the bouquet in a safe place if no one is home to take the order. If there isn’t a safe place to leave the flowers, the driver may take the flowers back to the depot to be re-delivered the next day. If this does happen, this is out of our control and we will not take responsibility for this.

Will my flowers look exactly like the one pictured? 

We will always aim to provide you with the best quality flowers, which may mean that we sometimes need to substitute certain blooms to meet seasonal change. Therefore your bouquet may not always be exact to the one pictured, however we will do our utmost to match it as best we can.
